CIVILIAN CONSERVATION CORPS

Clinton County, Pennsylvania

Between 1936 and 1945, there were ten CCC Camps operating in Clinton County. Five of the camps were in the Renovo area. This section focuses on our research regarding those camps, the stories about the CCC Boys who lived in the camps, and the projects they built for us to enjoy today.

About The Greater Renovo Area Heritage Park

The Greater Renovo Area Heritage Park was established in 2000 for the purpose of uniting, preserving, and promoting the history, heritage, culture, and community pride of the Greater Renovo Area; to build a heritage park center to become the focal point of the area’s ethnic, industrial, and commercial past; to help develop the local economy by supporting new business and nonprofit endeavors inspired by the heritage of the Renovo Area; and to illustrate how the area’s past ties to the present.
