Warren Girton was born on May 13, 1920, in Farrandsville, PA and died on September 22, 1997 in North Bend, PA at the age of 77. He is buried in the North Bend Cemetery, North Bend, PA.

Warren enlisted in the service on August 17, 1942, in Altoona, Pennsylvania. He was discharged on July 8, 1945. When Warren entered the service, he was married. He married Rhea Pickering.

He was in the United States Army Air Force, serving in the 82nd Bomb Squad, 12th Bomb Division as a Tech/Sgt. He flew missions in China, Burma, and India.
