Stephen P. Cullinan was born on January 1, 1915, and passed away on October 12, 2005, at the age of 90. He resided at 242 7th Street, Renovo, PA. Stephen was the son of John and Mary Ernest Cullinan. Stephen is buried in the North Bend Cemetery.

A bomber, Stephen P. Cullinan of Renovo, was named the Railroader, in honor of his father, a veteran Railroader on the Pennsylvania Railroad.

He entered the service on June 27, 1942, at Patterson Field, Fairfield, Ohio. Private Stephen was a very rare 3-War Veteran. He served in World War 2 as a lieutenant “Fly Boy” of the US Army Air Corp. He remained in the military and flew combat missions for the US Air Force during the Korean War. In addition, he also served in and flew missions during the Vietnam War. Stephen retired as a US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel at the end of his Vietnam service. He was discharged on March 31, 1966. He was nicknamed “Pee Pop”, not sure why.
