Charles Leroy Fink was born on October 24, 1922, in Portland Mills, Elk County, and died on October 31, 2020, at the age of 98 in Brevard County, Florida. When he joined the military, he resided at 309 Huron Avenue, Renovo, PA. Upon graduating from high school, Charles enlisted in the military. He was stationed in China for three years and served as a PFC in the US Army Air Forces during WWII. He served from November 11, 1942, to December 24, 1945. Charles was discharged at Indiantown Gap, PA. He served among the ranks of the Flyboys from WWII.
