MSGT Carl Stanley Newlen was born on April 15, 1919, in Staunton, VA and died on April 3, 1998. He passed away at the age of 78. The Newlen family moved to Renovo sometime between 1925-1927. They resided at 426 6th Street, South Renovo, PA.
He served in WWII in the Army Air Corps and continued in the U.S. Air Force, from which he retired in 1967 after 26 years. Carl participated in three wars: World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. He is buried in the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States.

Charles Foster Newlen was born on June 20, 1920, in Laurel, Henrico County, Virginia and died on November 22, 2004, at the age of 84. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on February 6, 1940, until he was discharged July 17, 1945. Staff Sergeant Charles Newlen was a mechanic during WWII and worked on the P-38 fighters.
He is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in Pataskala, Licking Cemetery, Ohio.

Eugene was born on November 28, 1921, in Richmond City, Virginia and died on April 7, 2013, at the age of 91 in Bakersfield, Kern County, California. He was a member of the Army Air Corps and a Staff Sergeant during WWII. He is buried in Bakersfield National Cemetery, Arvin, Kern County, California.
